i am monique duell
Lovingly referred to as 'Moni', I am the mother of two handsome, adult sons and caregiver to my adult brother. I am a native Washingtonian. I was a stay at home mom for 16 yrs. It was during that time that I tapped into my gifts as a writer, blogger and Author. I am a people person and I have a true passion for those with special needs, those with a broken heart, the rejected and those who are hurting. I was led by the Holy Spirit to write these books based on my yrs of experience raising my youngest son who has Cerebral Palsy, learning and cognitive delays as well as being my brother's caregiver who suffers from Autism, severe mental retardation and epilepsy. I believe that my books will prosper and
have good success as it ministers to parents, caregivers and guardians.
In addition to writing, I have a podcast called, Having a Moment with Moni, currently on iTunes, iHeart, Spotify and Anchor.

Monique has love and affection towards those who have emotional and mental challenges. In her books, Monique shares how she overcame the negative, emotional and mental challenges of raising and caring for her son with Cerebral Palsy and her adult brother with Severe Autism through practical steps, positive self-talk and prayer.
So she asks us to take the journey with her and perhaps answer the question, "WHY ME?"
